Megan and Grant’s fun and romantic wedding, at the Belk Chapel, is one I will never forget! There were so many beautiful moments throughout the day and these two have a love like no other! The hunter green palette, with pops of red and white, paired perfectly with this setting!
After getting Megan into her stunning gown, we got everyone ready for their first looks. There were several of them, including a first look with the bridesmaids, her father, her brother, Grant’s parents, and lastly with Grant. The moments and reactions captured during Megan and Grant’s first look is truly priceless. There was so much love and laughter, my heart couldn’t have been more full!
The two read their vows privately and then exchanged gifts. Grant gave Megan a beautiful bracelet and she gave him a special bottle of Blanton’s single barrel bourbon that was hand bottled on the day they got engaged!
Megan’s brother officiated the wedding and he was so emotional that she had to give him her handkerchief in the middle of the ceremony. The ceremony was so sweet and we were all either laughing or crying! Megan and Grant have waited for this day for so long and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
Before heading to the reception, at The Terrace at Cedar Hill, we spent some time roaming around the Queens campus for the most beautiful husband and wife portraits. The two then hoped on a trolly, with their bridal party, and headed off to the reception. This was the most lively crowd I’ve worked with in a long time and it was so much fun!
As the evening winded down, the guests filled the air with bubbles and we sent the newlyweds off to happily ever after!
