Some sessions just hit differently – this was one of them.

When Jodi reached out and asked for a “quick photoshoot” at Sean’s grandparents’ farm, I didn’t ask too many questions. We’ve done so many sessions together over the years – engagement, wedding, and countless moments in between – that I’ve learned to trust that something special is always in store when Jodi is involved. Still, I had a little hunch… and sure enough, when they pulled out ultrasound photos, my heart nearly burst.

This wasn’t just a photoshoot – it was the start of a brand new chapter.

Getting to photograph Jodi and Sean in the same spot where we did their engagement photos felt like a full-circle moment. This farm is more than just a location, it’s woven into the fabric of their love story. And now, it’s the place where we captured their growing family for the very first time.

There’s something so sacred about being trusted with these once-in-a-lifetime moments, not just as a photographer, but as a friend.
