LOVE (part of the Spa Collection Trio): This is the lavender scented candle that everyone has been asking for! Fans of the Spa Collection… we heard you!! Our “Love” candle will eventually be a part of a spa trio that includes the candles – Power, Love, and Sound Mind. The names of these candles come from 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
This is a verse that my dad taught me at a very young age. Whether I was preparing for a big basketball game, a trip to the dentist, or my first day of school, my dad would remind me of this verse. I would repeat it over and over in my head when I began to get nervous (and I still do to this day). The more I repeated it, the more peace I felt. It is still my favorite verse that we share with one another on big days. A simple text message of this verse to or from my dad gives us the peace to conquer our fear of the day. This is how I want others to feel when they burn our Spa Collection candles – a peace beyond understanding. As you burn this candle remember these words: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
SPICE CAKE: Starting faIl off with my FAVORITE fall scent!! We just couldn’t resist. This candle is mouth watering with its blend of cinnamon, ginger, almond, vanilla, and nutmeg. While this one is sweet, it has more of a spice to it making it less sweet than the Pecan Pie. To me, it’s the perfect blend!
PAW PAW’S PECAN PIE: The perfect blend of pecans, brown sugar, and buttery goodness! I have a feeling this one may become a new fan favorite! Mine will definitely be burning in my home on Thanksgiving (if there’s any of it left by then)! This one is sweet, sweet, sweet!
SATURDAY MORNING: I’m not sure what your family plans are every Saturday morning, but ours have always included some fresh, clean laundry. While laundry is not everyone’s favorite chore, the smell of clean linen makes some of us ladies feel like we are at the spa.
This scent can make any house smell fresh and clean with the hints of cotton blossom, powder, and violet. In other words, it literally smells like FRESH, CLEAN linen!
DAD’S APPLE PIE: Smells like an apple pie straight out of the oven with its perfect blend of apples, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon!
CAMPFIRE NIGHTS: Some of our greatest fall memories have been created around the campfire, and that is exactly what this candle smells like! It’s combination of marshmallow, sugar, embers, and oak make us ready to gather around the campfire and share some s’mores!
PUMPKIN PICKING: Pumpkin pickings is a fall favorite for our family, so it was only right to name a scent after it! This candle’s blend of pumpkin, buttercream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla makes the PERFECT pumpkin spice!
STRENGTH: This is not just any candle release, but one very near and dear to our hearts. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Tanya’s mom (my Nana) won her battle against cancer in 2016. This candle was made in her honor and in the honor of those who fight this battle. We have named this candle “Strength” after the verse that helped Nana through chemo: “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
“Strength” is a blend of strawberry, raspberry, vanilla, and sugar is a combination out of this world! They wanted this candle to truly scream pink as they bring more awareness to breast cancer and those that fight it every day.
