Cassie and Tyler’s romantic garden wedding, in historic Camden SC, captured all of our hearts.  From the charming private estate to the soft pink peonies from Alaska, it was truly the most beautiful day.

When the two asked me to photograph their wedding, I was honored and jumped at the opportunity to play such a significant role in their big day.  Tyler is my first cousin and although his lives in Florida, I feel like we’ve always had a close connection.  Growing up, I never imagined that I would be the one to photograph his wedding – how cool is that?!  By the way, if you missed their breathtaking Charleston engagement session, you can check it out here!

The day started off with a sweet bridal luncheon and then we made our way to the estate for the girls to finish getting ready.  With laughter flowing all around and mimosas in hand, the girls were having the time of their lives.  Across the venue, the groomsmen were celebrating the day with their own drinks and looked extra dapper in their tan suits and feather bow ties.

As I photographed the bridesmaids helping Cassie into her stunning Carlton ballgown, she slowly turned around and I felt myself gasp at her beauty.  She could not have been more elegant!  It was time to squeeze in a few portraits before the ceremony and everyone made me feel like I was just one of the girls!  So fun!!

Just before the ceremony started, I jokingly asked Tyler if he was going to cry when he saw Cassie.  Of course he had the typical guy response – no.  However, when Tyler caught his first glimpse of Cassie coming down the aisle, he began to tear up.  He took a deep breath, composed himself, and turned to me with the sweetest grin.  A moment that I will cherish forever!

It is such a privilege and an honor to share the beginning of Cassie and Tyler’s happily ever after with you today.  I hope you enjoy this part of their love story as much as I have.
