A Vintage Inspired Wedding: Sarah + Tanner

Sarah and Tanner met in their first year of college and they have the sweetest story (which you can read at the end)!  From their vintage engagement session, to Sarah’s incredible train car bridal session, these two could not have been more fun to work with!!  Their Gingerbread Meeting House wedding was perfection!

The wedding day started out like any other, capturing all of the unique bridal details and running through the pre-ceremony portraits of the wedding party.  Then, Sarah requested something that I knew would bring me to tears!  She asked that her bridesmaids blindfold Tanner and bring him into the bridal suite so they could pray together before the ceremony!  It was truly one the sweetest and most intimate moments of the day!!

The ceremony was filled with laughter and tears as we all watched the parents pray with their children and listen to the couple share their personal vows!  Sarah’s lace gown was perfection and the vintage decor was beautiful!

After the couple had their romantic first dance, Sarah was joined by her father and twirled around the dance floor.  During the father-daughter dance, the music changed and I was certainly curious about what was getting ready to happen!

As Sarah’s father put on a pair of shades, I knew what was coming…the most epic choreographed father-daughter dance I’ve ever seen!!  It’s moments like this that make me wish I were a videographer – ha!

Ok, ok…I know what you’re waiting for so I’ll get to their amazing photos!  Stick around until the end because you’ll be able to read Sarah and Tanner’s love story, in their own words!
