Olinda and Chris were childhood friends, but grew apart over the years as life pulled them in opposite directions.  However, their parents remained very close.  27 years later, Chris reached out to Olinda to check on the family after hearing about her mother breaking an arm.  Shortly after, the two reconnected in person during an unplanned family vacation.  From then on, the two were inseparable!

When the two became more serious, Olinda’s mother pulled out an old photograph from their childhood (which the couple never knew existed)!  Olinda was kind enough to share this precious photograph with me!

Is that not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?!

 

Their sweet engagement session was such an adventure!!  When I discovered that a distant neighbor of mine had a small vineyard, we decided to head on over…but it doesn’t end there!

The owner of the property revealed to us that he had a bamboo field at the back of his property and insisted that we use it for part of our session!!  SO MUCH FUN!!!  Spending the day with this amazing couple (and their precious fur baby, Dexter, who stole the show) was an absolute delight!!  So looking forward to their Majestic Mill wedding next spring!!
