I’m bringing you all the fall vibes with this Baker Buffalo Creek engagement session!
Maggie and Charlie’s engagement session was so sweet, but what makes this session even sweeter is their precious story.
Their grandmothers are best friends so these two have known each other their entire lives. Although Maggie and Charlie have known each other since they were kids, that doesn’t mean they started dating early on. They always knew there was a special connection, but they didn’t officially start dating until February of this year!
Fast forward just a few months and Charlie was planning the proposal.
In July, the two went to the beach with Maggie’s family and her birthday was the following weekend. When they got home, Charlie fixed her a fancy meal with wine and candles to celebrate. He decided to give Maggie her birthday present early. This present was a “his & hers” book of their relationship.
Charlie had already filled out his book, leaving marriage hints all throughout. By the time Maggie got to the end of the book, she had picked up on what was about to happen. Charlie then got down on one knee and proposed (with the most gorgeous custom ring, let me add)!
Maggie told me when we first spoke, “We’ve known each other our whole lives and we don’t want to wait…we’re just ready to be married and start a life together.” These two kind souls are having a short engagement and I’m so excited to be a part of their upcoming March wedding!
XOXO,
