The fun with this couple didn’t begin on the wedding day.
When Sierra and I first started chatting about their wedding, it was originally planned for November of next year. However, the couple decided to move up their date to this year and have a small and private ceremony in the mountains. So, we loaded up and headed to the Blue Ridge Parkway to scout locations.
Deciding on the stunning Moses Cone Manor, with the mountains as their backdrop, we started fine tuning the details. However, we were all concerned about icy weather in late November. So with much consideration, the couple moved their date and chose the Baker Buffalo Creek Vineyard for a romantic October wedding.
It was a warm October day, with a light breeze, and the setting was perfection! With their family by their sides, the couple exchanged vows in the famous Hillshire Farms red barn on the property. Having a small gathering and reception allowed us to spend the evening roaming the grounds for the most perfect portraits.
As the sun started to set, Sierra and Dakotah cut their cake and shared a bottle of the award-winning Baker Buffalo wine. This was truly a magical day and I am so honored to have been a part of everything, as well as make some amazing new friends! Congratulations to this incredible couple!
XOXO,
