Camellia Farms Styled Shoot

When the all amazing Patty Davis, of Carolina Roses, approached me about doing a styled session with her at a new and upcoming venue, I almost couldn’t contain my excitement!

When I pulled up to Camellia Farms, in Cornelius, I was blown away by the 1911 historic farmhouse and couldn’t wait to get started.  I knew Patty would bring her vision to life in the most spectacular way and what an honor to be a part of it! To say it was stunning would be an understatement!

Patty set up a bamboo farm table underneath a huge Japanese maple on the farm.  The table was decorated with fresh florals, china place settings, and ivy.  To top it off, she hung a lit chandelier from a branch and it was pure magic!!  The lovely naked cake was supplied by the fabulous Jodi Blanton of Rose’s Bakery.

Our amazing models, Taylor & Ryan Werkmeister, could not have been more perfect for the shoot.  They were recently married and Taylor was thrilled to be able to wear her dress a second time!  Love and laughter was flowing all around the grounds and after watching the couple pop a bottle of champagne, you would have thought it was their wedding day all over again!  Despite the tornado warnings and rain, this styled shoot was flawless!

XOXO,
