This college senior session, at Gardner-Webb University, is an extra special one.
Taylor and Tyler met at Gardner-Webb University in 2016. They were placed in the same college introductory class (UNIV111) and it was history from there. They later led their own UNIV111 class with a group of freshmen, which was one of their greatest college experiences.
Throughout college, Tyler worked for the admissions office as a Student Recruitment Ambassador (SRA) and later became the SRA Coordinator. One of his greatest decisions was to walk on to the tennis team his junior year. The two worked together as SRAs for a short time before Taylor started her student teaching experience.
Taylor majored in Elementary Education and is now a 3rd grade teacher at Boiling Springs Elementary. Teaching has always been her passion I know she is going to excel in her field! Tyler recently graduated with a double major in Business Administration and Economics/Finance and now works as a Financial Analyst in Hendersonville.
Taylor said, “Senior year was stressful for the both of us – between juggling jobs, student teaching, and of course, ending senior year early due to a pandemic. This senior session is for celebrating our accomplishments and sharing this experience with the family and friends that were unable to celebrate with us in person.”
Taylor and Tyler have been dating now for almost 4 years and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for them! They are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and I’m thrilled to share this part of their story with you today!
XOXO,
