Downtown Greenville Engagements: Krysta + Jordan

This downtown Greenville engagement session is definitely one of my top favorites!!  We started the afternoon off at Paris Mountain State Park and then headed over to downtown for a little fun!  Krysta looked positively stunning in her different dresses and Jordan even had matching ties and pocket squares for each!

When I first met Krysta and Jordan, I knew we were going to have a blast working together!  We all hung out in the local coffee shop, laughing and telling stories!  The best story was how they met and I even got to watch of video of Jordan proposing!  I’ll get to that in just a bit!

Krysta and Jordan met three years ago at a Limestone College Football game.  At the time, Krysta was a sophomore and ran cross country and track for Limestone.  That particular football game, it was Krysta’s cross country team selling raffle tickets and it just so happened to be the same game that Jordan was interviewing for an athletics position at Limestone.

Krysta tells the next part of the story best…

“I was trying to sell tickets, which I was not very good at by the way, and Jordan came up and introduced himself to me.  I actually tried to sell him a raffle ticket because I thought he was a student there.  We got to talking and he explained to me that he was interviewing for a job at Limestone and by the end of the conversation, I found myself offering to show him around  just because I wanted to see him again!  Fast forward three years later and we have been inseparable since the moment we met!  Our life revolves around the UNC Tar Heels and the UCONN Huskies. Our date nights and vacations usually revolve around a sporting event (mostly basketball) and truthfully, I wouldn’t have it any other way!  We were made for each other!  His Dad  jokes, to this day, that he came home from that interview with a job & a girlfriend!”

When it came time for Jordan to propose, his family pretended that they were having family portraits made at the house and for Krysta to dress up and be in some of the shots.  Jordan had put up cameras all around their pool and his mother had a table set up with pictures of the two together.  As Krysta walked over to see the table, Jordan was behind her and dropped to one knee.

These two are such an amazing couple, with an incredible love story, and I’m thrilled to share part of their story on the blog today!

XOXO,
