Field Wedding: Trisha + Edens

Sweet Trisha has been with me from the very beginning so being able to capture her special day was a true honor!  She was so joyful and excited about every aspect of her big day, from the decor, to her family and friends who joined from Shelby to Charleston!

It was especially wonderful to watch Trisha and Edens interact with their children throughout the day! There’s enough love between that fantastic seven to last a lifetime! It made my heart smile to watch the kids surround their mom and dad at the ceremony altar.

Although it was a small and intimate field wedding, it was just as beautiful (if not more) than any outdoor venue in the county!  All of their family and friends joined forces to put together all of the details, from the place settings, to the flowers, to the food and desserts, to the STUNNING ceremony site!  I was just blown away by all of the fabulous decor and Trisha (the artist and owner of Carolina Sweet Cakes) even made her own wedding cake!

Everything about this day was so fun and laid back!  Even when I suggested to do some woodsy portraits at the bottom of her parents’ property, Trisha opted to take the 4-wheeler to the location (YES, in her wedding dress)!!  What a rockstar!!!!!  And let’s not forget the most epic wedding photobomb I’ve ever captured (check it out below)…being a horse lover myself, you can imagine my excitement when these beautiful beasts interrupted our couple’s portraits!

Watching these two share their first dance, as the sun was setting, was absolutely breathtaking!  I am so blessed to work with such amazing people and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!  Congratulations to the happy couple!

XOXO,

Ashley, we are so thankful that you were the photographer who captured this special moment. We just looked at all the pictures and I am amazed at the detail and how you captured so many special moments. Trisha and Edens will be able to look at these pictures for many years and feel the magic of their special day. I have to say not many photographers would jump on a 4 wheeler with the Bride and Groom to take photos in other areas. You are a very special person who truly loves what you do. You get to make beautiful memories that will be shared over a lifetime. Thank you.
