Jamie and Sam met while working together and there was an immediate connection.  Funny enough, it was my own dad that suggested Sam should ask Jamie out on a date!  The same week they met, Sam was planning to move back to Pennsylvania and even had a job interview lined up!  But after meeting Jamie, he knew he had to stay in NC!

It was still months before they started dating because Sam wanted to get her father’s blessing.  That was when Jamie knew he was the one because it’s so rare that anyone asks for the parents’ blessing anymore.

After over a year of dating, they were ready to take the next step.  Sam had planned to propose on the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge, but after a change of plans he popped the question at a different park.  So, it was only fitting to do their engagement session in Lake Lure!

These two are such a joy to work with and Jamie’s smile is contagious!  I’m so honored to be a part of their wedding journey and counting down the days to the big day – with my dad as the best man!  This will be loads of fun!!  🙂
