There’s nothing quite like getting to photograph a wedding for a couple that you have become great friends with! I first met Jennifer and Michael at a cute little coffee shop in downtown Lincolnton. There was an immediate connection and we sat and talked for half of the day. So long that I got a parking ticket…my first ever, but it was totally worth it!
Their Majestic Mill wedding was perfect in every single way! It was predicted to be stormy all day, but stayed sunny up until the reception kicked off. The couple made a variety of homemade wines for their guests to enjoy and even had the most adorable bride & groom cake pops as part of the favors! The soft lighting of the mill and the elegant decor was spot on.
When it was time for Jennifer to walk down the aisle, the Rascal Flatts’ song “Speechless” started to play and as it hit the chorus, the doors opened. I’m pretty sure Michael didn’t even blink as she made her way down the aisle and I had to wipe a tear away! Half way down, Jennifer’s father passed her off to her two sons to complete the walk.
From there, the rest is history. Laughter, dancing, and fun festivities continued through the night – but that’s not all. As the party was coming to a close, Jennifer (willingly) went out in the rain with me for an incredible night shot in the street! This spectacular shot blows me away every single time I look at it! You’ll certainly want to stay until the end to see this one!
I could go on forever about their fabulous wedding, but I think it’s time to share a sneak peek from their amazing day! Congratulations to the happy couple!!!
