This bridal session in downtown Morganton might just be my favorite of my career!  Not just because Kaitlynn is one of my closest friends, but also because it was so incredibly beautiful!  I literally tear up each time I look through her pictures!

Growing up, Kaitlynn was my neighbor and I used to give her horseback riding lessons.  She was bold and fierce – and still is!  Who would have thought that I would one day be capturing so many sweet memories for her!

Although we had already set a date for her bridal session, we weren’t quite sure where we were going to do them.  Early in the year, we planned a girls day to have lunch and go shopping at Thistle & Twig in Morganton.  After shopping and finalizing bridal bouquet details with the store owner, we decided to roam around historic downtown.  It was in that moment we knew we had to do part of her bridal portraits there.

While in her wedding dress, and snacking on goldfish, she drove us around to all of the sweet spots in downtown!  We finished up the session in a beautiful field at her home.  I wanted to show a part of Kaitlynn’s fun and flirty side so we incorporated wine and a super cute hat!  I’ve never had so much fun at a bridal session and this is one I’ll never forget!
