This NC Arboretum anniversary session is extra special.  Last year, Ashlyn and AJ were forced to change their big wedding plans and have a small backyard wedding instead.  Although Ashlyn didn’t get a chance to wear her wedding gown or have a big event, she said it was perfect in every way!

So for their one year anniversary, they wanted to plan a romantic session to celebrate.  The arboretum in Asheville is such a magical place and we had the best time!  The gardens were immaculate and the mountain views were breathtaking!  Not to mention, Ashlyn looked amazing in her white lace dress!

The couple never got a chance to braid the cord of three strands at their ceremony, so they brought it with them.  At the end of the session, we found a private area and the two shared an intimate moment braiding the cord of three strands.  It brought me to tears and I’m so blessed to have been able to share this moment with them!
