Rebecca and Ryan chose Romare Bearden Park for their engagement session because that’s where they had their first date!  The love and energetic vibe between this couple blows my mind!  Once I picked up my camera, it’s like I wasn’t even there and they snuggled and kissed all evening long!  This fabulous duo barely even needed any posing guidance and their smiles are simply contagious!

Both moved to the Charlotte area for college and after finishing, they decided to make it home.  However, they didn’t meet in college.  At the time they met, Ryan’s roommate was Rebecca’s best friend.  Ryan managed a bakery so Rebecca and her friend would occasionally pop in.  Ryan told me that he would randomly throw scones at her in a flirting kind of way!  Too cute!

He finally got the courage to ask her on a date and they went to Romare.  They both knew instantly that it was true love because they walked around talking for hours, not wanting the night to end.  They laid in the grass and star gazed together, knowing that this was the start of something magical!
