I’m at a complete loss for words with this Sunset Beach engagement session!  When I first met Lyndsay, we immediately hit it off.  So when the couple pitched the idea of a beach session with their pups, I was over the moon excited!

Larkin proposed on Lyndsay’s birthday at the New Belgium Brewery, in Asheville.  Not only were their family and friends there, but he also brought along a photographer to document the magical moment!  Their love for each other is unmatched and to be the one who got to capture all of the kisses and snuggles at their engagement session was so fun!

Leading up to the session, the weather was not looking good and it was forecasted to be stormy all weekend.  But when the time came, the clouds parted and it was a gorgeous evening!  Lyndsay and I made several references to The Notebook when we were discussing the possibility of rain (we’re both a little obsessed with the movie)!  Although it never rained, I’m definitely getting a Notebook vibe from their pictures!  Especially with the blue flirty dress!

Their sweet pups, Rylee and Steven, had a blast playing on the beach and they posed like little models!  What a joy to be able to capture this beautiful time in their lives and I can’t wait for their May wedding!!!
