Courtney and John Robert’s wedding, at The Barn at Blue Sky Farm, was so classic and elegant. The black and white theme paired beautifully with this venue and the pops of white flowers created a softer vibe. Courtney’s glamorous gown had a large bow on the back, which was my absolute favorite detail!
While the guys played poker in the groom’s quarters, the girls were getting dolled up in the loft. Courtney’s mom, grandmother, and sister helped her into her dress and we were all captivated by her beauty! After having some fun with the bridesmaids and groomsmen’s portraits, Courtney and John Robert did a first touch and read letters from each other. Both of them got choked up and I was fighting back tears.
As Courtney’s father and grandfather walked her down the aisle, John Robert started tearing up at the sight of his beautiful bride. After exchanging vows and rings, the two branded a custom wooden board together. I have never seen this done before and it was so unique!
The reception kicked off with a live band and the guests were having the time of their life! The photo booth was a huge hit too! Bubble machines were used for the grand exit and the guests brought out glow sticks. Once Courtney and John Robert made their way through, he cracked open a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
This was the most gorgeous wedding with such amazing people! I’m so honored to share a glimpse of their special day on the blog! Congratulation Mr & Mrs McCarter!
