The Triple J Manor House is one of my favorite venues! After a 2 year engagement, Kaylan and Andrew finally tied the knot and this charming venue was perfect for their big day!
Kaylan and Andrew first met while attending Gardner-Webb University. She was a cheerleader and he was a baseball player. She said she would never date a baseball player, but Andrew changed her mind pretty quickly. After almost 7 years together, the wedding day is here!
The color theme that Kaylan chose was inspired by Lilly Pulitzer and the soft blues and pinks paired beautifully with this setting. There were so many personal and custom touches throughout the venue. Since Kaylan just finished dental school, of course she had toothbrushes as part of her party favors. “Love is sweet, but remember to brush your teeth.” Too cute!
While the girls spent the afternoon getting all dolled up, the guys hung out in a little cabin on the property. Love and laughter flowed from every room and the bridesmaids were so helpful throughout the day. Just before the ceremony, Kaylan and Andrew shared a first touch and exchanged gifts.
The ceremony was so sweet and Andrew became emotional when he saw his beautiful bride. The reception kicked off with first dances and toasts. After dinner, the DJ called Kaylan and all of the GWU cheerleaders to the dance floor. All of the girls looked a little confused and wasn’t sure what was about to happen. Then the DJ challenged them to do the GWU cheer…they nailed it! To top it off, the girls ended with a pyramid and lifted Kaylan up on top! We were all so amazed, especially with Kaylan in her wedding gown! Everyone danced and mingled throughout the night and then the guests sent the couple off with a glowstick exit!
I first met Kaylan when she was an undergrad student at Gardner-Webb University. It seems like yesterday when she told me that I would be photographing her wedding one day. What a joy and a pleasure to play a small role in Kaylan and Andrew’s wedding journey. I am incredibly honored to share this part of their love story with you on the blog today!
XOXO,
