This Uptown engagement session could not be any sweeter! Alyssha and Ryan have the most precious love story and they were destined to be together from the very start!

Alyssha and Ryan first met 14 years ago, in high school. They dated briefly during their sophomore year, but still remained friends. Even after graduating, they stayed in contact. Ryan always knew that Alyssha was his soulmate and he wasn’t giving up!

Two years ago, he randomly messaged Alyssha on her birthday and wanted to see her. Let’s just say, the rest is history!

When it came time for the proposal, Ryan knew that Alyssha would never want it to be a big public event. So he came up with the cutest plan.

The two were getting ready to leave for the Renaissance festival and Ryan said he forgot something in the house. After going back inside, he started yelling for Alyssha to come in and look at giant bug that had gotten in the house . When she went through the front door, Ryan was down on one knee!

After all of the tears and excitement, the two headed off to the festival to celebrate!

I have known Alyssha for a very long time and she’s like a little sister to me! Seeing her so incredibly happy and getting to capture these beautiful moments in her life is such a blessing! I’m already counting down the days to their amazing fall wedding in Banner Elk!!
