There’s nothing quite like working with a couple that’s so fun you feel like you’ve known them for ages!  We chose Baker Buffalo for the engagement session, not only because it’s beautiful and private, but also because Emily is from the area.  They started the session off by cracking open a bottle of wine and toasting to a fun-filled day!

I first met Emily and Justin at one of my other bride’s wedding and she was a bridesmaid.  These two were the life of the party and danced all night!  Not to mention how helpful and enthusiastic Emily was all day!  Emily and Justin actually met on Tinder, but quickly found out that they had mutual friends.  They are both geologists and a match made in heaven!

When things got serious, Justin planned a romantic trip to the mountains.  Emily had a feeling the proposal was coming.  He kept wanting to go to this particular park and it took some convincing to get her to go.  It was a cold day and the park was covered in snow, but Justin dropped to his knee and asked Emily to marry him!  So sweet!!

It’s amazing how they will get to incorporate all of the seasons into their wedding adventures!  Proposal in the winter, engagements in the fall, bridal portraits in the spring, and wedding in the summer!  I’m so excited for more wedding fun with these two and I’m overjoyed to share their beautiful engagement session on the blog today!
