I’ve had the honor of documenting so many meaningful moments for Jodi and Sean – their engagement, Jodi’s bridal portraits, their wedding day, the joy of their baby announcement, and their maternity session. And now, finally, their first session as a family of three, with their beautiful newborn daughter, Loretta Arizona.

This session felt especially tender. We began on Jodi’s sister’s farm, surrounded by open fields. From there, we went back to Jodi and Sean’s home for a few in-home lifestyle portraits. Loretta was perfectly content, held close, and completely adored.

Photographing a couple through so many seasons is incredibly meaningful, but seeing them step into parenthood is something else entirely. The way Sean looks at Loretta and the softness in Jodi as she holds her daughter.

This session was about witnessing the unfolding of a story that continues to grow richer with time. Jodi and Sean, thank you for trusting me with your memories – again and again. It’s a privilege to document your lives, and this chapter is one I’ll always hold close.
