Tucker Farm Wedding: Cora + Tyler

Cora and Tyler’s wedding, at the Tucker Farm, could make my photographer explode! The color scheme, the setting, and the people made this one of the dreamiest weddings! Cora’s parents, and many other wonderful people, came together to transform their family farm into the most magical wedding venue!

The girls all got ready in the farmhouse and I was in heaven shooting all of the details and getting ready portraits in this gorgeous space! Cora is a past bridesmaid of mine so having the opportunity to photograph her wedding was extra special for me!

Cora and the bridesmaids had some fun popping champagne and then her mother helped her get into her gown for the first look.

Cora and I made the emotional walk together as I got her and Tyler ready for their first look. Cora was already in tears before I got into place. As Tyler turned around, he was in awe of his beautiful bride! The two embraced and then read their vows privately, which was etched into glass.

We jumped right into portraits and had such a blast! This bridal party was so lively and inviting! We then got everyone loaded onto carriages to escort them to the ceremony site, across the property. The guests were even shuttled in carriages and it made for such a fun experience! I managed to hop on the carriage with the groomsmen and that was a hoot!

As we peaked the top of the hill, the ceremony site came into view. It was positively breathing and the floral arch framed the mountains perfectly. I had seen this site before when I toured the farm and helped decide on a ceremony location, but I was blown away! Seeing everything we had discussed come to life brought me to tears!

The ceremony was so sweet and the couple planted a tree together in the field. As Cora and Tyler became one, in front of their friends and family, everyone cheered and waved streamers as they exited down the aisle.

After a few magical sunset portraits, we got ready for the reception. This is the part where I wish I were a videographer!

The groomsmen worked all day building a boat out of Corona boxes and made their grand entrance “paddling and fishing” in the “boat.” One poor groomsmen must have pulled the short straw because he was the “fish” and flopped around the floor. As the groomsmen scouted for the “fish” in their Corona boat, they casted a line and caught the poor “fish.” They proceeded to reel him in and a buddy jumped out of the boat to take a picture of their amazing catch. It was HILARIOUS and nothing like I’ve ever seen! You’ll have to stay with me to the end to get a peek!

Cora and Tyler’s incredible wedding is one I’ll never forget! I am so grateful that they chose me to capture their beautiful day!

Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Cowan!
